Molly Li
Molly Li (she/her) is a Ph.D. student in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. She earned her M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, and her research is centered around the intersection of digital literacy and AI-powered tools in education. Specifically, Molly’s work focuses on how these technologies can influence middle school students’ writing processes, self-regulation, and identity formation, particularly among those facing transcription or self-regulation challenges.
Molly’s research interests are shaped by her own experiences growing up in China and navigating different education systems. Her dedication to understanding the role of AI in education developed from her broader interest in how technology transforms learning environments and impacts student development. Currently, Molly is exploring how AI literacy shapes students’ ability to critically engage with digital media, aiming to develop strategies that foster both AI and critical literacy in young learners.
