Faezeh Vahdat Nia
Faezeh Vahdat Nia is a Ph.D. in Education student specializing in Learning Sciences in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. She received a bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences from Allameh Tabataba’i University and a master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Tehran.
Faezeh’s research is centered around play in children and adults. She particularly enjoy asking questions about the power of play and the learning potentials of play to improve children’s skills and motivation. Some of the skills she specifically explores in her research are spatial skills, executive functions, confidence, and grit. Faezeh is also interested in providing chances for equity, especially related to gender, socioeconomic status, and disabilities.
