Amanda Delgado
Amanda Delgado is a Ph.D. in Education student specializing in Learning Sciences in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. She conducts research on ways children engage with and learn from storybooks and digital media, as well as investigates methods to promote children’s spatial development.
Prior to joining the Child’s Play, Learning and Development Lab at UD, she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, FL in 2018. Her undergraduate honors thesis, titled Individual Differences in Adults’ Intersensory Processing Predict Performance on Standardized Cognitive Tests, centered on adult attention skills and their executive function skills. She later received her Master of Arts in Education at the University of Delaware.
