Join us in Washington, D.C.
UD’s College of Education and Human Development and the School of Education will host a Washington D.C. reception for UD alumni, faculty, colleagues in other colleges of education, and leaders in the education community during the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2016 annual meeting.
We invite you to join us for hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and conversation at our Saturday evening reception. Enjoy conversation with our faculty and learn about new initiatives in our college, including:
- Research to improve outcomes for underperforming students
- Plans to encourage our students to become global citizens
- Our revised PhD and EdD doctoral programs
- Our new online master’s program in Teacher Leadership

The George is located on 15 E. Street Northwest, a ten-minute walk from Union Station and about a mile from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, where many of the key sessions in AERA 2016 are located. The George is also conveniently located near Capitol Hill, the Verizon Center, and Nationals Park.
